Formerly Homeless Student Gets Into 17 Colleges, OnHis Own

A former homeless teen inNew Jersey got into 17 colleges on his own.
Back in 2017, the teen’s mom lost her job and the family lost their home. Theymoved into a shelter, where they stayed for several months until his mom couldget back on her feet. 
The 17-year-old continued to work hard and last week he learned that he hadbeen accepted to 17 colleges, including Siena College, Kean University and YorkCollege of Pennsylvania.
