Cop Saves Man in Wheelchair From Being Killed By Trainin Dramatic Rescue
A northern California police officer saved a man’s life Wednesday, dragging him off train tracks seconds before an oncoming locomotive rolled past Officer Erika Urrea’s heroic actions were captured onbody camera footage.In the video, Urrea is seen hauling the man out of his wheelchair and off the tracks almost immediately before the wheelchair is crushed by a Union Pacific train.
The 66-year-old man was transported to a hospital with a leg injury. He is instable condition.The rescue took place in Lodi, Calif., about 80 milesnortheast of San Francisco, at around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
