5-Year-Old Boy With Lemonade Stand Raises Over $3G ForInjured Firefighter
A 5-year-old boy inMissouri helped raise over $3,000 with lemonade stand for a volunteerfirefighter who was injured in a shooting at a local Applebee’s.
The firefighter was eating at the restaurant with her best friend when a randomgunman opened fire. Her best friend was killed and the firefighter andanother customer were injured.
After learning about what happened, the 5-year-old boy and his older sisterwanted to do something good for the first responder. So they set up shop with aroadside lemonade stand and made over $3,000 in six-hours.
The firefighter remains in the hospital in critical but stable condition.
