Boy Offers His Elementary School Teacher A Raise-- HisBirthday Money

A nine-year-old Florida boy wanted to do something nice for his teacher, sohe gave her a raise.The boy gave his teacher $15, whichwas his birthday money. He included a thank you note that read, “Idon't think that teachers get paid enough for what they do, so will you acceptthis gift?"
The teacher gave the student his money back along with her own note…”I can'taccept this, but appreciate the gesture. Students like you are the reason Iteach."
The boy said he really likes his teacher because she has her own way ofteaching and spends time with each student.
