Getting seven to eight-hoursof sleep a night is the best for your brain.
Researchers studied more than 40,000 people. Their sleep was tracked over athree-day period and they underwent several tests evaluating brain function andthinking abilities.
They found the brain performs best after seven to eight-hours ofsleep.
They also found that people who slept more than that amount were equally asimpaired as those who slept too little.
