Researchers looked at mice and found that the neurons that influence metabolismare active for up to two-days after a single workout.

And they say those changes last longer with more training.
The researchers say the results also provide another avenue to researchpotential treatments to improve glucose metabolism in patients with conditionssuch as diabetes.
