Facebook is showing off VRavatars that look and move exactly like you.  

In a series of videos, the lifelike floating heads, “CodecAvatars” can be seen conversing with one another, as their real facialexpressions are replicated on VR faces in second-by-second detail.

Facebook says the avatars will be used in the future to chat and could ease theloneliness of long-distance family members, friendships or relationships, bysimulating what it feels like to be in the same room.
