(GENIUS In Action)... Guy Decides To TestBullet-Resistant VEST

Police in Illinois are investigating a report of a shooting after an unidentified man received treatment an area hospital.

The man told police that he and family members, who he refused to identify,were trying out bulletproof vests when he allowed another person to shoot him.
While bulletproof vests are a good safety tool, they are not 100% effective andwill not stop a bullet every time. Factors such as distance and the bullet’scaliber will affect a bullet’s impact to a vest.
 
One cop says, “It’s not good at all because it can still go through — and that’s if it hits the vest at all, because they could miss. Also, it is still acrime to shoot another person, even if they tell you to.”
