Florida Is Looking To Hire 50 Citizen's To HuntPythons
The South Florida Water Management District is looking for 50 people tojoin their python elimination program.
Authorized citizens, known as python removal agents, are paid by thehour to track and humanely dispatch pythons and other invasive, environmentallydangerous snake species.
The program even pays extra for snakes measuring more than four feet or forsnakes that were sent to the afterlife while guarding snake eggs.
Pythons are typically six to 10 feet long and are capable of climbing
In order to be considered, you must be at least 18, have all of your IDs anddocumentation in order, and have no recent criminal history.
Removal agents use a GPS tracking app to log their time spent hunting andtracking the creatures on public land.
