Honda is recalling more than 100,000 of its 2018-2019 Odyssey minivans dueto an issue with the power sliding door latches, according to an announcementfrom the carmaker on Tuesday.

Honda will voluntarily recall approximately 107,000 Honda Odyssey vehiclesfrom the 2018 and 2019 model years in the United States to replace the left andright power sliding door rear latches, for free.

Honda is announcing this recall to encourage each owner of an affectedvehicle to take it to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive notificationof this recall from Honda. Notifications are set to begin in late-December2018, the carmaker announced
