Writing By Hand Makes Kids Smarter

Writing makes kids smarter. 

Researchers looked at the brain activity in twelve young adults and twelvechildren while they were typing and writing. 
They found the brain is much more active when writing by hand than when typingon a keyboard.
The results show that people learn better and remember more when theywrite.
