Scammers are sending textspretending to be retail giants in an attempt to get your personal info.  
The scammers will pretend to be well-known companies like Walmart,Amazon, or Verizon offering a great deal that sometimes involves aCOVID theme.  They then attempt to collect personal account information.
Experts say to help avoid these scams don't click on links fromstrangers and confirm deals directly with the company before youaccept them.
