Most Americans Gave Back To Their Communities For TheFirst Time During Pandemic
A majority of Americans gave back to their communities for the firsttime during the pandemic.
Researchers surveyed 2,000 adults in the US and found over half saidthey’ve given back to their community and took action for the firsttime in their entire lives this past year.
Three-quarters said they either personally experienced or know someone whoexperienced a life hardship like losing a job, struggling financially, or nothaving access to food and water due to COVID.
And due to the pandemic, 68% feel more emotionally connected to their communitythan ever before.
