POLL: We Need $1.25 Million to RetireComfortably

 As everyday costs increase, Americans now say it will cost more toretire.

A survey showsthat Americansnow expect they will need $1.25 million to retire comfortably.  Thatfigure represents a 20% increase from the $1.05 million respondents cited lastyear.

The average retirement nest egg has fallen 11% to $86,869, down from $98,800 ayear ago.

Moreover, theexpected retirement age has risen to 64, up from 62.6 last year.
