Ford Recalls 1.5 Million Pickups Because Of Transmission Issue ConnectedWith Reports Of Injuries

Fordis recalling nearly 1.5 million pickup trucks because the transmissions cansuddenly downshift into first gear.

The issue has caused at least five accidents including one that caused awhiplash injury from a sudden downshift.

The recall covers F-150 trucks from the 2011 through 2013 model years withsix-speed automatic transmissions.
