Apair of meteor showers are sharing the night sky this week, both reaching theirpeak Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.The meteors of the DeltaAquarids are known for dragging long, glowering trails because of the angle atwhich they entire Earth’s Atmosphere.The Alpha Capricornids generally averageonly five or so meteors per hour, by they often produce bright fireballs.
The Alpha Capricornids are relatively slowmoving and prone to producing fireballs..
The meteors will be visible to the unaided eye and nospecial equipment is needed. Meteor showers are best viewed away from citylights.
