The average American will spend $81.17 on the Super Bowl on Sunday. The National Retail Federation says Super Bowl spending in the US is expected to reach $15.3 billion on food and beverages, team apparel and accessories, TVs and decorations. That’s up 8.5% from last year’s $14.1 billion. Four out of five of the 188.5 million Americans expected to watch the game plan to spend on munchies and drinks, which is the highest ever since the survey began in 2007.
